Personal training sessions are tailored to your needs and goals We use functional fitness kit such as kettlebells, battling ropes and sandbags, along with bodyweight exercises, to help get your body working as effectively as possible while burning any excess fat and building lean muscle. A particular speciality is training with kettlebells - a graceful and highly effective way to achieve a total-body, cardio and resistance workout in a short space of time. Much of the kit may be new to you, but that's part of the fun!
Small group classes can be arranged if a group of friends want to organise themselves to train together. Couples training (partners or friends) is also a great fun way to share the cost of personal training
and get fit together.
YOUR FIRST SESSION IS HALF-PRICE
PRICES (50 mins) - from March 1 2019
Personal training pay-per-session: £40 (this can be shared between two people)
Block-book ten PT sessions - £350 (this can be shared between two people), pus an 11th session free
Group classes (max five people): £12 each (payable in 10-session blocks, 11th session free)
PRICES (30 mins) - from March 1 2019
Personal training pay-per-session: £30 (this can be shared between two people)
Block-book ten PT sessions - £240 (this can be shared between two people), pus an 11th session free
THINGS TO NOTE
Block bookings are valid for 12 weeks from date of payment for weekly clients, six weeks from date of payment for twice-weekly clients. If The Workhop is closed or it's a public holiday on your session day, the end-date for your block moves forward. Cancellations on-the-day will forfeit the session fee.
At your first session, Ruth will conduct a new client consultation covering your exercise history and health. This will enable her to plan workout sessions which are safe and effective for you. All information is kept strictly confidential. If you have health conditions which require medical monitoring, we may require a letter from your GP confirming you are safe to exercise with a qualified personal trainer.
Please arrive on time and wear comfortable fitness clothes and clean trainers. Women please wear a sports bra. We have a toilet but no shower facilities. We provide water but feel free to bring your own. Please also bring a sweat towel.
